Under $100: Black Ankle Boots

[Featured above: Carlos by Carlos Santana Equinox Bootie, $90.]

Blame it on the 80s, but I have a hardcore addiction to black ankle boots. Pat Benatar did a great job at making them look so damn good. I own two pairs, both of which I love a lot, but yet I yearn for more. If I wasn’t so disciplined, I’d probably own at least 10 pairs of black ankle boots.

Nowadays, black ankle boots are as classic as an LBD. From mini skirts to pencil skirts, skinny jeans to leggings, black ankle boots are versatile footwear that go with everything.

While I think it’s perfectly logical to invest a few hundred dollars into a pair of black ankle boots that you’ll keep forever, I knew I could find some chic options for under $100, just in case you’re not completely convinced that your wardrobe needs them. Below is a hardy selection. If you see a pair you like, just click on the image for purchasing information.
