It was a pleasing surprise when Tiffany & Co. added a line of handbags to their already beloved brand. And it was an additional bonus when we learned that it would be team Lambertson Truex to lead the designs of Tiffany Leather. The design team paid a visit to Las Vegas recently and hosted an elegant soiree at the Tiffany boutique inside luxury shopping center Crystals.
This event gave me the excuse I needed to really study the handbag line up close and personal. Luxe to the touch and impeccable in design, Tiffany bags are made in Italy. The smaller version of the Tiffany Reversible Tote (TRT) is large enough to carry your wallet, mobile technology and other items, and it runs at under $400 – giving you access to an affordable indulgence. Other bags can range from $600 to well over $1,000, depending on fabrication. I found an alligator Tiffany handbag online that is priced at over $17,000, so the handbag collection seems to really mimic the price range of Tiffany jewelry. There’s a little something for everyone.
But what I think I love most about Tiffany Leather is the element of class mixed with a fresh fashion appeal. You won’t find logo covered styles among the line, but you will still find that the collection truly represents what we’ve come to appreciate from Tiffany. Sans branding allover your handbag, you will still look like you’re carrying Tiffany – and be the envy of all your friends.
