Outfit of the Week
Friday, March 26th, 2010Twestival in Las Vegas happened on March 25. Our local social media community did great organizing the event. And our local small business owners did a great job sponsoring. Considering that Twitter founder Biz Stone was in town and that Las Vegas is home to large corporations including casinos and a popular shoe shopping website known for its leadership and involvement in Twitter as well as its corporate culture and superb customer service, I would have expected greater sponsorship and support. Sadly, it did not come from the bigger people, but instead came from the grassroots. But, isn’t that always the way it goes?
I went nude. Well, not bare naked nude, but pale and neutral, with a pop of color on my ankles and my lips. The outfit went over well, although I got a few “You’re not nude,” comments after tweeting that nude was my theme for the night. I mean… I didn’t lie. Right?
The Details:
This is the ring that Clinton Kelly blessed. Sleek, bronze clutch.

Color on my ankles. This is the same red Reese Weatherspoon wears in those Avon commercials!
