The colors of the high school I went to are brown and gold. I was a varsity cheerleader (obviously) and hated our school colors. I kept thinking that our uniforms would be so much cuter if our colors were red and gold, or blue and silver, or better yet, pink and white. Now that I’m older I can appreciate brown and gold. The combination is warm, calm and happy. And when it’s complemented with a bit of black and white, like in this dress, then it becomes artistic. 

I think I’m ready for a high school reunion.
