I Fell in Love Over the Weekend…
Sunday, April 11th, 2010…with this super cute spring jacket. At first I thought it was gray leather, but it’s denim, making it so much more appropriate for spring. The construction creates a level of sophistication so that anyone can wear this jacket, from an 18-year-old pairing it with skinny pants to a 38-year-old wearing it over a slimming shift dress. I can see mom and daughter definitely fighting over this cute jacket!
Outfit of the Week
Friday, November 13th, 2009Pubcon came to Vegas, giving everyone a reason for another Tweetup. We gathered at Encore’s Eastside Lounge for an evening of socializing, peppered with a few libations. We high-four’d our Pokens and rubbed elbows with Twitter elite, including Biz Stone himself.
I got to meet a few of my loyal Twitter followers and blog readers in person, so that was the best part of the night for me. For my Tweetup outfit, I opted for a pencil skirt mixed with a light wash denim jacket, which I picked up from a thrift store in San Diego for a mere $5. No one would have guessed it!
The Details:
Shiny Red Belt A bit of lace on the pencil skirt balances out the toughness of the jacket.

Friday, September 11th, 2009In conjunction with New York City’s Fashion’s Night Out, Las Vegas’ Fashion Show Mall played host to three simultaneous events: the grand opening of Banana Republic’s Store Concept, special events at Neiman Marcus, and a runway show by Saks Fifth Avenue. Of course I was there, and here’s what I wore.

Custom Make Your Own Jeans at Thimbler
Monday, July 27th, 2009
Thimbler.com offers you a one-of-a-kind experience where you can create and customize your own designs – even if you’re not a designer.
All you need to know are your measurements, then visit Thimbler.com, select the items you’d like to buy and customize, fill in the blanks and order. It’s simple, easy, totally affordable and thoroughly satisfying.
I ordered the Women’s Custom Bootcut Midgnight Blue Jean. I got to choose my waist, pant length and even the rise, which is most important to me because I can’t do low rise jeans. I also can’t do high rise jeans, either, so I’m very partcular about the rise of my jeans. At Thimbler, I can be as particular as I want! That’s a bonus.
My Thimbler.com customized jeans arrived in a timely manner. And, they make my butt look great! Let’s face it, ladies, we all want a pair of jeans that makes our butt look nice, right?

Customizing your jeans can be nerve-racking, so I have two tips for you. First, know your measurements well. Of course, you should measure your waist, hips and inseam, but I also recommend measuring your best-fitting jeans or pants, too. Second, familiarize yourself with rises by checking out the various jeans and rises available in the market.
Once you know what you want and need, go to Thimbler.com and create and customize your perfect pair of jeans. You’ll be so happy you did.
