I'm not normally a nail art kind of girl. Mostly, I just keep my nails short, squared and painted with either a really dark color or a really bright color. I've experimented with nail stickers and gluing on crystals, but I've never found a nail art form that I stick with consistently. Until now, that is. I discovered Minx.

I heart blogger Julia DiNardo of Fashion Pulse Daily. Recently, she got to attend a product launch event for Garnier. Here are her thoughts on what she saw and experienced.

I recently went to the Garnier Open House event to check out their latest line of product offerings, with most of them launching this month. The new hair care, styling, and skin care products each offer something new to the market, for example the Triple Nutrition hair care line includes olive, shea, and avocado oils to provide incredible moisture without weighing hair down. I was particularly interested in The Dryness Reversal Treatment, a three minute conditioner with crushed apricot seed that act as an exfoliant; I never would have thought about applying something of that nature to my hair, and will soon test out the products to see the results. Their new concept of anti-humidity hairsprays is something that rang a chord with me — depending on your hair type and styling requirements, you can choose a hairspray to particularly meet those needs. Although I’ve been pretty happy with my massive bottle of Tresemme, the Volumizing Anti-Humidity Hairspray certainly got my attention (other options are Full Control, Sleek & Shine, and Flexible Control).

Last, I spoke with dermatologist Dr. Neal Schultz about the lastest skin care offerings, including the Ultra-Lift Pro Deep Wrinkle Night Cream, and Skin Renew Awakening Face Massager Moisturizer with caffeine, Vitamin C, and lycopene. Dr. Schultz confided to me that caffeine is the next big thing in skin care, that produces a stimulating and energizing effect. The roller ball technology is pretty cool, but being the skeptic and germaphobe that I am, I had a question for Dr. Schultz: “Does the facial roller trap bacteria or foster an environment of bacterial growth, due to rubbing the same thing over and over again on one’s face?” The pleasant Dr. Schultz wasn’t annoyed by my question, and said that indeed no, it actually wouldn’t cause any more bacteria than when you dip and re-dip your fingers into that bottle of moisturizer or night cream that you’ve been using. Good point; now I’ve got one more reason to wash my hands! Keep your eyes out for the products mentioned above, plus several more, hitting shelves this summer.

It's been four weeks since I began my quest to discover youth in a bottle with Sustainable Youth. I've been diligently using the Sustainable Youth Total Immune Performance Regimen, an organic and all natural line of products which promises to improve the elasticity and firmness of skin, and I have noticed a slight improvement. 

However, this improvement goes beyond skin firmness and elasticity. Overall, my skin tone is more even, smoother and brighter, so much so that I'm finding I can get away with wearing less makeup than before. In fact, in the Week 4 photo, I'm wearing much less makeup than in the Day 1 photo, including no foundation and no blush.
