Wow. The Universe works in wondrous ways.

I am a dressy, girlie fashionista. Rarely will you find me in casual wear in public. My most casual attire is a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt. But even then, I always sport a pair of designer heels with the outfit.

I could never really figure out how to be casual-sporty and fashionable at the same time. Then in the past couple of weeks two casual sportswear brands contacted me to review their products, and magically I have been transformed.

The first brand to help me evolve my wardrobe is Ahnu, a name which derives from the goddess of balance and well-being in Celtic mythology. Coincidentally, I had been feeling a bit out of balance lately and Ahnu has shown me that I can find a pair of cute, casual, performance footwear that I can not only wear on a Saturday running errands, but I can also wear them when walking a nature trail. And I need more of that in my life – a reconnection with the earth, nature and just simply slowing down.
