Okay, so, I’m reading my girlfriend Mindy’s blog about her baby Jagger, and she has this one photo post where she’s showing off her baby’s first tooth with great excitement. And while I should have been excited about the occasion as well, I couldn’t get past my own exuberance for the super cute nail color she’s wearing in the photo. So rather than leave a comment showing my loyal friendship and being happy about Jagger’s first tooth, I, instead, begged her to tell me where she got her nail color.


See, this explains why I’ve lost a few friends in the past once they had babies. Luckily, I’ll always have friends like Mindy who love me despite my intentionally empty nest and my self-centered desire for all things pretty.
