Latest Purchases
I’ve made some recent purchases that I’m really excited about and want to share with you. All of which I am wearing.
First is my Hayden-Harnett for Target bag, which my friend, Grechen’s Closet, requested to see “in action.” Next are my latest designer label finds and my new cocktail ring.
I wore this outfit on day one of Word Camp: Las Vegas, a wonderfully educational two-day “camp” covering WordPress, blogging and social media. If there’s a WordCamp in your area, you must atttend. But also consider taking a trip to glamorous Las Vegas and attending next year’s Word Camp.
1. Hayden-Harnett for Target Convertible Hobo, Target, $39.99 – This stylish bag was a Handbag of the Month and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I ordered it online and one of my Twitter friends commented, “Target bags are too plastic-y for me.” Valid point, really. The only other Target bag I own is one from the Proenza Schouler for Target line. I was happy with that one, and I was really impressed with Rafe’s line for Target, too, so I felt confident with my Hayden-Harnett for Target purchased. Turns out I was right to be. Check out these close-up pics of the bag. The faux leather is great quality. And, I really appreciate details such as the dual striped quilting and engraved hardware. But my favorite element is the interior lining. How lush!
2. Robert Rodriguez lace cropped jacket and tank top, purchased at Hautelook.com – The big deal here is that the tank top was originally $88 and I got it for $8.80 and the jacket was $440. I purchased it for only $40.40. Check out the impressive linen lace design and the sweet, petite buttons. What an excellent and luxurious piece.
3. Amrita Singh cocktail ring, also purchased at Hautelook.com – Originally $70, I got the ring for only $10. While I purchased it through Hautelook, I just learned you can also get it through Amarita Singh’s website for the same low price.

I love the purchases you’ve made – the Target bag is fabulous. There is another site called iStorez that has incredible deals. I found a gorgeous D&G silk dress that was originally $800 marked down to $200!! Here’s a link to the site http://www.istorez.com/ – they have deals and sales from all the major retailers.

The bag is great, I love the pattern inside. It has the little details to make it stand out more. What a fabulous ring!
