Las Vegas is never short on luxury. From Tom Ford to Fendi, you can always find the best designer labels in this fabulous neon city. But, if you want the brands for less, then you have to shop Max Luxx, located in Downtown Container Park.
The 257-square-foot boutique showcases pre-owned luxury and designer handbags, wallets, belts, sunglasses, luggage, and accessories. Authenticity is guaranteed. This is actually the second resale boutique for owner Michael Mack, who also owns Max Pawn (6040 West Sahara Avenue), inside of which is the first Max Luxx.
“We are excited to bring authentic, pre-loved luxury products to the Downtown Container Park, which expects to see two million visitors and shoppers this year,” Mack says.
During my store visit, I spotted a black Hermes Kelly bag for under $10,000 and a black quilted Chanel handbag for $2,200. The labels were plentiful, ranging from Michael Kors to Prada to Dior. It’s like a little piece of fashion heaven right in Downtown Las Vegas, which happens to be my new work base. I fear for my paycheck!
I ended up purchasing a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses for my husband, as a Valentine’s Day gift, for only $89. But I was tempted to purchase the classic black Wayferers for myself, which were priced at only $125. It’s definitely a boutique worth visiting over and over again, just to check out what’s new.
You’ll want to note that the boutique doesn’t operate like a pawn shop; so if you have a Louis Vuitton handbag that you’d like to unload, don’t bring it into the boutique. Take it to Max Pawn, and maybe I’ll purchase it later from Max Luxx.
Visit Max Luxx everyday of the week, beginning at 11 am, at 707 Fremont Street. Check out the website at www.maxluxx.com.
