Go Shop Vegas: December Events

Ho, ho, ho, shopping elves. Chances are that Black Friday and Cyber Monday helped with scratching a few names off your shopping list, but I’ll bet you still have some shopping to do, don’t you? Relax. You have 24 days to go; that’s still plenty of time. And I have the best shopportunities in town listed below to help guide you. So take a chill pill (preferably with a swig of wine) and enjoy the season. Happy holidays and go shop Vegas.

This Friday, Rapper Desiigner launches his official merch at all Rue 21 stores. He celebrates the event with his fans at an in-store appearance that same day at Rue 21 at Meadows Mall at 6 p.m. See Desiigner and purchase his merch at 4300 Meadows Lane.

Oh, sure. You shop IKEA for the great furniture and home accessories. But be honest, you go there for the food, too, right? Well then, you obviously don’t want to miss the store’s annual Swedish Julbord buffet happening Friday, December 9th. Tickets are available for only $16.99 per person, $4.99 for kids 12 and under. Purchase them in the restaurant in advance. Seating is limited, so act fast.

“The Julbord buffet lies at the center of a classic Scandinavian holiday celebration,” says Patricia Meumann, IKEA Food Manager. “We invite everyone to celebrate and learn more about Swedish traditions over a delicious meal with family and friends.” Find more information here.
