Brooklyn-based jewelry designer Alexis Bittar has opened his first stand-alone Las Vegas boutique at The Forum Shops. The 987 square-foot retail location incorporates the iconic elements of an Alexis Bittar boutique, including décor details such as custom-made floor mirrors created with antiqued, beveled glass and grey-lacquer paneling. The interior design reflects the playful contrast of art and fantasy which creates a distinctly Alexis Bittar environment. Adding to the atmosphere is a staple to any Alexis Bittar store, an ethically-sourced, neon-hued hybrid taxidermy animal, hand-painted exclusively to Bittar’s custom colorations by artist Frank J. Zitz.
“Las Vegas is a major crossroads for many people from all over the world,” says Bittar. “I am really excited to be a part of this.” The boutique features a full expression of the Alexis Bittar fashion line, including his iconic Lucite, Elements, and the Miss Havisham collections, as well as Alexis Bittar’s sought-after Fine Jewelry line and Pre-Fall pieces. In fact, Las Vegas is the only boutique to currently carry Pre-Fall.
After taking a personalized tour of the new boutique, I learned that with Alexis Bittar, layering is key. Layer your necklaces. Layer your bangles and cuffs. And know that Bittar himself layers stones, colors, and other elements in his designs. The details are so intricate and impressive, that a single piece of Alexis Bittar jewelry worn across your neck, on your finger or your wrist will make you feel truly special and awaken your unique inner qualities.
And that, after all, is Bittar’s goal. He longs to make each woman feel special and unique and enhance her beauty. And he accomplishes it so perfectly.
Another thing to keep in mind, Alexis Bittar jewelry is attainable. In fact, the Lucite block rings below are only $100 each. You’ll find many other stunning pieces priced below $200 and $300. And despite its attainability, do consider Alexis Bittar jewelry as investment pieces. You’ll wear them forever. Feel comfortable adding to your collection with each season, as the designer thoughtfully considers past collections when creating new ones, so his wearers can mix, match, layer, and always enjoy adorning themselves with his jewelry.
