Inspired by the shoes, which came to me courtesy of ShoeDazzle.com, I wanted to put together a bold outfit that successfully featured the military trend but was balanced with a bit of femininity. I must have done well. When leaving a restaurant, while wearing this outfit, a woman stopped me to ask where I got my shoes and to compliment my outfit. "You stand out for sure," she said. Thank you.
Stay tuned for my Shoe Dazzle review next week!

Las Vegas is always on, and the fresh crew at F.R.E.S.H. hosted and produced Pose last Tuesday at the Rio Voo Doo Lounge – a fashion and photo event complete with models and a must-watch photo shoot. Of course there were DJs, libations and mingling, too. I opted for this fashion-forward vest I purchased at Anthropologie. It's long in the front with a satin tie-sash and cropped in the back. It's a total all-eyes-on-me kind of piece.

The wonderful folks at Cirque du Soleil hosted a Las Vegas Bloggers Night Out at the show Mystere. It was my first time seeing the show, and I was utterly mesmerized.
I wore this special tee given to me by the designer at Inspired by Claire Jane. I just adore the skull and Union Jack flag print. And the t-shirt itself is so soft and comfy.
I must have done something right by choosing this t-shirt as my Mystere outfit, because when I had the chance to have my photo taken with a few of the cast members, one of the hunky, shirtless performers said to me, "So you like Britian, aye?" My response? "So long as you keep your shirt off, I'll like anything you do."
Thank you, Cirque du Soleil for a memorable evening. (Note to readers: Review with fashion inspirations to come.) And thank you, Claire Jane for an eye-catching shirt!

Nothing makes you stand out in the crowd like a pair of hot pink boots. I get lots of "oohs" and "ahhs" when I wear these to the office. I Twitpic'd these boots, too, and got lots of responses on Twitter. I found them at a thrift store here in Vegas. They're by Aldo and I paid only $12 for them. The silk blazer is also a thrift store find. I think hot pink is a great transition color to take me from winter to spring, and as you can see by my blog header, it's obviously my favorite color!

Time for another Tweetup. I sure go to a lot of these, don’t I? This particular one was ladies only, and I couldn’t wait to see old friends and finally meet in person women with whom I’ve been talking to on Twitter.
I had to go from the office to the event, so I opted for something with which I could create two looks. The basis of the outfit is the zebra print lingerie top and denim trousers. Add a cardigan, and I’m office appropriate. Take off the sweater and add a rockin’ leather jacket, and I’m ready for a night out with the gals.
And check out my new hot shoes. Tsubo sent me these darling, fashion-forward oxfords called Nabu, which I plan to review in a future post. What I can tell you now is that these shoes are SUPER COMFY. I could run a marathon in these shoes. They have great style, but are as comfortable as a sneaker. I kid you not.

CES not only brings money and technology to my home of Las Vegas, but it also brings some really awesome people, including Natalie of The Frugalista Files and Nichelle of STYLEMOM. Junior J. of JetSetSocialite and I met with the stylish pair for a Blogger Power Lunch, where we discussed social media, New York Fashion Week and places to shop in Las Vegas. Nichelle and Natalie also introduced me to to Blogalicious – a blogging conference for women of color. This year's Blogalicious takes place in Miami, and it seems Junior J. and I are sold. Expect to see us in Miami come October!

Another Tweetup, another fun outfit to show off. This particular Tweetup took place at the fabulous Las Vegas Hilton inside their tempo lounge. The Hilton is always so generous and hosting such fun Tweetups, so next time you're visiting Las Vegas, be sure to attend a Las Vegas Hilton Tweetup. Their next one is during CMS. CLICK HERE for the Tweetup info. And, be sure to follow Las Vegas Hilton on Twitter: @lasvegashilton. Shout out to my new friend Melissa, who blogs at Urban Mix Plate and who wrote a post about the Tweetup.
I'm not sure what I love most about this outfit - the convertible skirt (I love convertible fashion), the super-hot Tory Burch boots which I got on sale, or the Tiffany cuff my hubby gave me for the holidays. What the heck, I love it all! Do you?

I think this is the perfect example of how not to match. My outfit is blue and black, but my bag is brown. Long gone are the days of matchy-matchy. Today's modern girl is styled without looking pristine and stoic. So in 2010, I urge you to make a resolution to throw any rules of matching that your mother may have told you about out the window. Instead, go for playful, fresh and fun.

Another successful UKLV event has passed, and here's what I wore. The dress was a Cyber Monday special from Eye Candy Buy Candy, which is now having a 25% off special event with code DRESS and valid through December 24. So you can have the same drop-dead dress, too, and save 25%.
This dress is so versatile and can be styled with metallic, black or brown accessories. It even comes with the belt! My only tip for wearing this dress is be confident and have a little attitude. Only the fierce can get away with this hot number.

I could be Pat Benatar in this outfit! I picked up the dress at the thrift store Savers during one of their famous 50% off sales. I probably paid all of $7 for it, and at first I thought it was vintage, but it's not. It just has a vintage feel to it. I could have worn my black moto jacket, but I purposely went with navy, for an element of surprise.

I wore this outfit to the UKLV Monte Carlo or Bust event, which I was invited to by my good friend Sam, a fellow fashionista and one of the entrepreneurs behind Vegas Rock Dog. The event included the Vintage Vegas Show with Zowie Bowie and an after-party.
UKLV is a wonderful Las Vegas-based social organization which basically brings a little bit of Britain to Las Vegas. I felt so honored to be a part of the festivities, I HAD to dress up and make a good impression. It must have worked, because the usher upgraded our seats for the show to the SECOND ROW!
I got the dress on sale at Dillards.com for about half the original price. The beaded bag was a holiday gift from a few years back and the peacock feather headband was purchased in-store at Aldo where I also got my shoes. The next UKLV event is a holiday party at the Luxor, and I'm already planning a dazzling outfit for that one, too!

I first discovered this dazzling dress when I blogged about ShopItUPChic.com. I had to have it, and nab it I did. It's sold out now, but keep its brand, Hazel, and Shop It Up Chic on your shopping radar. Both offer chic, stylish, feminine fashion at affordable prices.
I wore this outfit to Thanksgiving, and I'm so grateful for this dress, access to great shopping, my family and friends, and of course, this blog which acts as my outlet to share and communicate my great finds to you! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Currently there is a debate among marketers concerning email marketing. There are many marketers who believe that because of social media, email marketing is dead. Speaking as a professional marketer, I believe this to be untrue. And this outfit is proof.
I received this phenomenal email from Charlotte Russe featuring this exact sweater dress and acid wash thermal top. So, I bought the two pieces on the spot. The email must have worked on others, too, because the sweater dress is already sold out online. It was only $24.99! You may want to check with your brick and mortar Charlotte Russe to see if this dress is in stock. But the thermal top is still in stock online and I've linked to that below.
Email marketing dead? Nah. People who voluntarily sign up for email newsletters want the advertising. So, retailers, keep it coming to Lollie Shopping!

Pubcon came to Vegas, giving everyone a reason for another Tweetup. We gathered at Encore's Eastside Lounge for an evening of socializing, peppered with a few libations. We high-four'd our Pokens and rubbed elbows with Twitter elite, including Biz Stone himself.
I got to meet a few of my loyal Twitter followers and blog readers in person, so that was the best part of the night for me. For my Tweetup outfit, I opted for a pencil skirt mixed with a light wash denim jacket, which I picked up from a thrift store in San Diego for a mere $5. No one would have guessed it!

Halloween may be over, but my love for the macabre never dies. It's casual Friday, and I take what could be a generic outfit (jeans and t-shirt) and make it a little more interesting. The shoes are from Iron Fist, and they've proven to be difficult to find. I got this pair from Hot Topic in-store. Iron Fist shoes are very unique, creative and way inexpensive. And while they're cheap in price, they're not cheap in quality and surprisingly comfortable.

So, Betsey Johnson came to Las Vegas and did two store appearances. Being that I am a Betsey Johnson fan, I had to meet her. And, of course, I had to look cute for her and wear Betsey Johnson. Going through a gray phase right now, I chose my to wear my gray leather Betsey Johnson boots. Then, while waiting for her at the Betsey Johnson store at Miracle Mile at planet hollywood, I purchased the Betsey Johnson Little Bow Pleat handbag (in gray, of course!), and I nabbed a great deal. Originally $268, I got the bag, a pair of earrings and a pair of socks for $197. All because the store was having a promotion - purchase $300, save $125. Score!
Here's the best part: Betsey signed my handbag and I got a picture taken with her! Naturally, I'm on cloud nine. Oh, and guess what? Betsey told me she is also going through a gray phase for the fall season. Great minds think alike! She's my new BFF!

Inspired by Nicole Miller, I wore this outfit to the GrandTweetup event hosted by MGM Grand at Studio 54. I bought the dress at H&M for only $34.95 and had originally planned to style a more cocktail-dressy outfit. But when I received a Nicole Miller email advertisement with the blue and black Stretch Twill and Organza Combo Dress featured below, I decided to rock out my own electric blue number number by adding a black belt, black diamond fishnets and ankle boots. Totally electric-chic.

I'm going gray. And, I don't mean my hair. Gray is my color of the season. It's just so cozy and comforting. The pants are from American Eagle Outfitters. They're normally $44.50, but they were on sale for $14.50. That was such a great price that I bought the same pair in olive, too. Of course, I had to add a little color to my mostly gray outfit with my pretty-colored, Summer Peacock Necklush given to me by the folks at Moxsie.com.

Okay, so I go to Fashion Bash with Junior J from JetSetSocialite.com and he immediately spots this dress. That young man has an eagle eye for fashion. It was the only one like it and, luckily, in my size. Totally affordable at $45, I nabbed it on the spot. The designer had no business cards with him and the dress has no label, so I can't tell you who made it. But, I can tell you I love it. I wore this outfit to my birthday dinner at Nob Hill at MGM Grand. Good times.

This is a great transition dress. I can wear it now while it's still warm, but I can also pair it with tights and ankle boots come the chilly fall season. Black and white is a hot trend for fall and winter. But, of course, I have to throw in a little pop of color, especially pink. For me, this outfit was definitely all about the details, including layered necklaces, my pink ToyWatch and a giant rose ring from H&M.

I'm not sure what it is, but lately I'm loving red plaid. I found this cute little Tommy Hilfiger skirt at Savers, during their Labor Day sale, for about $4-$5. And it goes great with my new feather graphic tee that I picked up at Target for only $9.99. To make this outfit office-appropriate, I added my DKNY boyfriend blazer, which I can remove for happy hour later.
